• Candidates seeking admission into the Programme which is for a duration of five (5) years or ten (10) semesters must have obtained at least credit passes in five (5) subjects in the SSCE/GCE/NECO or their equivalent at not more than two sittings.
• The five (5) credit level passes must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two from the listed: one of which must be a science subject:
• Art - (Civic Education or Fine Art)
• Commercial - (Accounting, Book Keeping, Business Studies, Commerce or Financial Accounting)
• Social Science - (Geography or Government)
• Science - (Agricultural Science, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Studies, Data Processing, Further Mathematics or Health Sciences)
• Technical - (Building Construction or Land Surveying)
• The candidate must also sit for the current JAMB examination and obtain the prescribed cutoff mark as laid down by JAMB and the University. In addition, Covenant University conducts a screening exercise for all candidates seeking admission into the University and applicants may not be admitted without fulfilling the demands of the screening exercise.
• Candidates must pass Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) with the prescribed cut off point in the following subjects: Use of English and any three subjects from the listed below
• Art - (Civic Education or Fine Art)
• Commercial - (Accounting, Book Keeping, Business Studies, Commerce or Financial Accounting)
• Social Science - (Economics, Geography or Government)
• Science - (Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Studies, Data Processing, Food and Nutrition, Further Mathematics, Geography, Health Sciences, Mathematics or Physics)
• Technical - (Building Construction or Land Surveying)

To graduate, a student must successfully complete a minimum of 185 credits distributed over the five (5)-year period as shown in the Table below:
